SMSC

Welcome to the Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultureal Development’s (SMSC) intranet page

We recognize that academic achievement is only one aspect of a student’s growth. Our focus on Social, Moral, Spiritual, and Cultural development (SMSC) enables us to foster an inclusive and harmonious learning environment. Our Personal Development Team will work with you to integrate SMSC principles across the curriculum, promoting respect, tolerance, and understanding of diverse cultures and beliefs. Supporting schools to deliver a 100 Walls programme of activities that will help students instil core values such as respect, integrity, and empathy as well as opening their worlds to new experiences. Explore engaging activities and lesson plans that nurture positive character traits in and out of the classroom. We are deeply influenced by the Aldridge Foundation’s philosophy, which emphasizes a set of core attributes that go beyond academic achievement. These attributes encompass Determination, Independence, Curiosity, Resilience, and Empathy. We believe that these qualities are essential in guiding our students towards becoming confident, adaptable, and compassionate individuals who can excel in both their personal and professional lives.
